“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” – Philippians 4:13 (NKJV)

In his sermon titled, You Can Make It, Presiding Bishop Charles Edward Blake, Sr. reminds us that there is a point to our temporary suffering. How we handle trials will determine “whether we are tolerating life or actually enjoying it,” says Bishop in the sermon. If we remain steadfast and focus on who God is, we will not and cannot crumble under life’s pressures.

Our trials are a way for God to show us His power and to allow us to know Him better. If we never need a financial breakthrough, then we would not know that God is a provider. If we never suffered from an illness, then we would not know that God is a healer. Therefore, in the midst of any trials you may face, always remember how God brought you out of them.

God’s power is unparalleled, and in all things, you can make it!
